The Idemitsu Museum of Arts has been loved by many visitors since its founding in autumn of 1966
on the 9th floor of the Teigeki Building in Marunouchi, Tokyo.
However, due to plans to rebuild the building, the museum will be closed from December 2024.
This last year before its temporary closure, the museum presents the theme “The Path of the Idemitsu Museum of Arts
-From Here and Beyond” and reflects on its history through 4 exhibitions, showcasing artworks that represent the museum’s collection.
We would like to express our gratitude to all who have supported and visited the museum during the 58 years of its opening.
We hope you enjoy the exhibitions of this special year.
