Idemitsu Museum of Arts was founded by Idemitsu Sazo (1885-1981), founder of Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. in 1966 on the 9th floor of the Teigeki building. The Museum was established to showcase his collection of fine arts that he collected for over 70 years.
